Kareena Kapoor Khan, while working on Bajrangi Bhaijaan in Delhi, has turned to social causes in a big way. After visiting NGO Umang for differently-abled kids with Salman Khan, the actress and the Begum of Pataudi has taken to a social cause for girls who have been forced to take up employment at a young age. This is also her way of taking the association with UNICEF forward.
The actress will match every donation made towards this initiative. For instance, if someone donates Rs 500 through the Groupon app on their phone, Kareena will also donate the same amount from her account. At the end of the exercise on December 6, a sum will be collected and diverted towards education for children, especially girls between the ages of 8 and 13 years.
